Financial and Insurance Policy

Dr. Maher and her team will always strive to provide you with the very best dental care.  We will always inform you of the best dental solutions for your dental needs and desires.  We see many patients each year, some have dental benefits and some do not.

Insured Patients

We currently accept all PPO (Preferred Provider Option) Plans.  This allows you to go to the dentist of your choice.  We have always maintained a high standard of care for our patients, their families and friends and we are not able to compromise or cut corners because an insurance company tells us to do so.   We are considered Out-Of-Network for all insurance plans, as we are not contracted with any insurance company.  We will do our best to estimate your portion based on the insurance standard percentages.

We are happy to bill your insurance as a courtesy.   If your insurance company does not pay within 90 days, we will reserve the right to request payment.  This is rare because our office will do it’s best to maximize the amount that your dental plan pays.

Your dental benefits are a contract made between your employer and your insurance company, which you signed up for.  If you have any questions regarding your dental benefits, please contact your employer or your dental insurance company directly.  Please keep in mind that dental benefits may not cover all your dental care, they are meant to assist you.

Non-Insured Patients

Dr. Maher requires payment in full on your balance at the time of service.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and checks.  If you are in need of another financial option we offer CareCredit which is a third party financing company, which can provide 0% interest rates for up to 12 months (on approved credit).

Cancelled or Missed Appointments

We reserve your appointment time especially for you and prepare in advance for your arrival.  It is important that you keep your scheduled dental appointment.  If you must change your appointment we require at least 24 hour notice.
